Mr. Friendly Foreigner is the Californian born token white guy who immigrated to Japan in 2013 and now writes about life in Japan.

His dream of living in Japan started at the young age of ten, when I… *ehem* he had an ah-ha moment realizing Final Fantasy, Pokemon and everything great in life all came from the same place – Japan.

After two failed attempts at a foreign exchange program, MFF finally took life into his own hands, quitting university and creating his own path to Japan.

In late 2008, the dream finally came true and MFF makes his way to Osaka, Japan.

Fast forward several years, I am still here!
Now, mostly a Family Man and generally goofy. When I am not hanging out with my daughters, you can find me biking/running through Tokyo, perusing coffee shops or dreading work on Monday.
